Code P0741 (Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance/Stuck Off) sets when the TCM detects an open circuit, out-of-range current, or a stuck-on/stuck-off performance fault while driving the torque converter clutch solenoid that locks the converter for fuel economy at cruise. Causes are a failed TCC solenoid, contaminated fluid causing the solenoid or clutch plate to stick, or damaged control wiring.
